Coker, and Mrs* Ralph R, Lounsbury, In the report given by the librarian, Miss Gertrude Harbison, mention was made of the fact that it was 40 years ago, on July 4th, 1915, that the present library build- (Con’t, page 9) GARDEN CLUB NEWS T\^o of the three main summer events sponsored by the Higlilands Garden Club have been most successfiilly and enthusias tically completedo Mrs* W* Harrell Wilson lectured in her inimitable fashion to al most one hundred people who left the Mu seum building filled with inspired ideas and refreshed self confidence for flower arranging* Mrs, Wilson talked about the judging of Flower Shows from the point of view of the judge and from the point of view of the exhibitor indicating the happy meeting place of the two, an imaginative and artistic arrangement* She completed half a dozen varied flower compositions using some of them as illustrations of what might be done in arrangements for the forthcoming Flower Show,^ August 13th & 14th, i The Garden Club is gratefully indebted to I Mrs* Wilson for the informative and de- ilightful lecture as well as for the con- I tribution which it made to the Highlands !Biological Station.
